Rees Dragon Skin Bass

I started this project with a beautiful piece of Victorian Ash and cut it similar shape to the Rickenbacker 4001.

I then laminated a bookmatched piece of AAA Maple and bound it with ivory celluloid.

Being a bass player that uses a pick I decieded to reverse the split pick ups.

The tuners are Gotoh and the bridge and active pick ups are custom ordered.

Anyone considering getting a handmade guitar really needs to see and have a play of this guitar, you will not find anything like this in the shops.
